No
wonder: the new connoisseur’s temple is located in the elegant
Calabash Hotel, offering a view on the palm beach and the blue waters of
Prickly Bay.
David
Marshal makes sure the quality of the offer matches up to Rhodes’ high
standards: he worked on the cuisine and crew for one year to get
everything in top shape and has modified local dishes to suit a
demanding pallet. "After all, it’s a Grenadine restaurant with
local dishes on the menu".
It’s
no coincidence that of all hotels the Calabash was given the honor of
accommodating the first Gary Rhodes restaurants overseas. "We liked
the fact of it being a small, very exquisite family-run business that
doesn’t belong to any of the huge hotel chains", reveals Marshal. |
