Itinerary

2 nights ARROWPOINT
1st day: Transfer to the Dock on Demerara river; boat trip across the narrow winding jungle rivers to the Arrowpoint Lodge; side tour to Santa Mission and later a night tour along jungle trails for animal watching with an Amerindian guide.
2nd day: In the morning, jungle expedition on foot and in canoes; bird watching and or fishing, Wabani Expedition - a conducted hike into the forest to Lucky Seed landing then kayaking back to the resort. In the afternoon, various levels of mountain-biking and watch bread making from poisonous cassava roots according to Amerindian tradition. In the evening a log fire on the beach.
3rd day: Hike through the rain forest to Maburi Junction and explore the Bell Bird calling site. Return trip by boat to Georgetown than transfer to Ogel airport. Flight over the Jungle over the Jungle via South to Lethem then transfer to Karanambu. 

2 night KARANAMBOU LODGE
A boat trip late afternoon
4th day: In the morning boat safari to the honey ponds with its giant Amazon water lilies; in the evening expedition by boat to a tributary, where monkeys and a numberless water birds exist.
5th day: Boat trip on Rupununi River - until Ginep Landing.

2 nights ROCKVIEW LODGE
Short trip by land to ROCKVIEW LODGE; short hike on your own on a nature trail with beautiful view on the steppe.
6th day: guided tour to the nearby Amerindian Village, where the cashew nut manufacturing can be watched. In the afternoon you have the opportunity for horseback riding, a canoe tour or fishing in the river for a small fee.
7th day: trip through the jungle, visit to Macusi village Surama, and journey to Iwokrama.


2 nights IWOKRAMA LODGE, the jaguar's reserve
In the evening caiman safari on the river.
8th day: early morning boat trip around Indian House House Island. Keep an eye out for the butterflies, snakes and macaws as they come out to have "breakfast" on the island's edge; also a chance to hear songs of the five species of Tinamou, Marbled Wood-Quail, Bandrumped Swift, White-handed and Black-collard Swallows. In the afternoon: a trip through jaguar territory - no promises, but many were lucky and saw one. After that you'll be able to explore tropical tree giants from suspension bridges.
9th day: If there is enough time, boat trip to  Amerindian village of Fair View with 5000 year-old rock engravings, return trip to Lethem airstrip and from there flight to Georgetown.

2 nights RESIDENCE INN, Georgetown and Kaieteur Falls
Transfer to Residence Inn
In the afternoon ** City Tour, visit the gorgeous historical Georgetown with its botanical garden (not included in price)
10th day: Option to  visit the Kaieteur Falls - the highest waterfalls in the world. If this is desired, we register the tour for you at the time of your booking; reconfirmation and payment can only take place in Guyana through the hotel, because the providing of the flight depends on the weather conditions and a minimum of 8 participants.
11th day: Transfer to international airport and return flight to Antigua or Barbados.
