Barbados: holiday island with everything that goes with it

Beach in Barbados

The lively south coast

Trendy bars and a modern skyline: Barbados’s busy south and west coast resembles a modern city, except that it expands into wonderful beaches of dazzling white at the edges. Its restaurants and bars are definitely on a par with those in London’s city centre. In between hotel resorts, densely built apartment blocks with second residences of wealthy Britons crowd the water fronts. An ideal place for relaxing under a sun shade on the beach, watching people, and going out for dinner to one of the hip restaurants before plunging into the bustling nightlife. Out of all of the Lesser Antilles islands, Barbados has the most developed tourism infrastructure with everything that goes with it. If you love peace and quiet and the unadulterated Caribbean feeling: the east coast offers a number of pristine beaches on the Atlantic.
